I have been in networking marketing for 13 years and have operated my business wrong before I did it properly. Because of that, I love to help others skip the “whoopsie” phase and jump straight to the “whoop whoop” phase!
1. “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴…”
FALSE. No product sells itself. If they did, companies would not spend millions upon billions on marketing!
Instead of saying that, talk about WHY network marketing exists.
See… instead of paying advertising agencies millions of dollars to market their products, network marketing companies pay everyday people to market their products instead! Think of it like this… when you try a new restaurant and have a great experience, you brag about it right? That’s what network marketing is.
2. “𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺…”
Network marketing is FAR from easy money. This isn’t like winning the lottery. What you put into your business is what you get out of it and building a successful network marketing business takes an average of 2-5 years.
But the truth is that it is a SIMPLE business. Your income producing activities can be completed in 1 hour a day but they require you to push outside of your comfort zone and the reality is most people just won’t do that!
It is also a business designed for ANYONE but not everyone. This is the simplest and most common profession of millionaires because it is one of the few lucrative industries that do not require experience or a degree. However, network marketing isn’t for everyone. If it was, we would all be rich!!
It is simple but not easy.
3. “𝘑𝘰𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮…”
Unfortunately, this is a phrase that will forever be coined as spammy simply because of the second word.
People don’t want to hear how this could benefit you, they want to hear how this business opportunity would benefit them and their families. So focus on them! Help them see themself here on your team by sharing about the products, culture, income and community of your company in a way that makes them excited!
4. “𝘖𝘯𝘭𝘺 5 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵…”
It is 2021 and EVERYONE knows that in multi-level marketing there is no cap on enrollment. A quick google search will tell them that too. It makes you sound dishonest and not trustworthy.
Being trustworthy is the key to building relationships. Building relationships is the key to having more sales and more enrollments. So STOP focusing on the numbers and focus on building genuine and honest relationships!
5. “𝘐𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦…”
Woahhhhh… hold up! Who says people want to change their life…
I mean, majority of people are fairly content with their lives how they are. Most join network marketing to create a source of income, not completely flip their lives upside down!
So, focus on sharing what this opportunity did to ENHANCE your life, not change it.
